The work on this page though decorative is also very useable. I threw and handbuilt the pieces on this page using a white earthenware with low-fire glazes.

Unlike my sculpture, I apply a great deal of control in my functional work. Each color is precisely brushed on 3 layers to achieve density of color. Once dried, 2-3 layers of clear glaze is gently applied over the color then fired to 1940 F
Although every piece is one-of-a-kind, I often repeat the Ruffle, Heart and Geo designs, curious to see what will happen as each design evolves.
